HALMA p.l.c. VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL In accordance with the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, Halma p.l.c. ('Halma') confirms that the total number of ordinary 10 pence shares of Halma in issue at 31 July 2008 has increased to 375,124,345. The change results from the issue of shares to meet the exercise of options under the Company's share option plans. Halma holds 1,563,813 shares in treasury. Therefore the total number of voting rights in Halma is 373,560,532. The above figure of 373,560,532 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Halma under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules. |
