HILL & SMITH HOLDINGS PLC 

Notification under paragraphs 3.1.2R to 3.1.4R of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules

Hill & Smith Holdings PLC ("Hill & Smith" or the "Company") announces that it has been notified today that Mr C J Snowdon, being a person discharging managerial responsibilities of Hill & Smith, has purchased 5,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 330.0 pence per share. This transaction was effected earlier today on PLUS Markets.

Following this purchase, Mr Snowdon is beneficially interested in 25,000 ordinary shares in the Company.
