Board changes
Yell announces the appointment of Carlos Espinosa de los Monteros as non-executive director of the company, such appointment to take effect fromΒ 18 May 2009.Β
Mr EspinosaΒ is President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Espana, SA. He is also a director ofΒ the following companies:Β Acciona (energy and construction),Β Schindler EspaΓ±a (elevators), La Fraternidad (insurance), INDITEX (fashion retailer, ZARA and others) and ARCADIS (HollandΒ - Engineering).Β His previous directorships in the past five years are:Β DaimlerChrysler Espana, SA, and Gonzalez-Byass.

MrΒ Espinosa holds no shares in Yell.

In addition,Β YellΒ announces thatΒ Lord PowellΒ of Bayswater, who was appointed to the board in July 2003,Β has notified the company of his resignationΒ asΒ aΒ non-executive director,Β such resignation to takeΒ effect from theΒ close of businessΒ onΒ 24 July 2009.Β
Richard Hooper will replace Lord Powell as Senior Independent Director with immediate effect.Β
