8.Countermeasures:

8.1 We are very aware that under the current situation, it is a protracted battle for safeguarding the health and safety of more than 200,000 employees in Foxconn's Zhengzhou park. We feel the concern that outsiders have for Foxconn and urge for understanding and support during this time.

8.2 The welfare of our workforce is a priority for the Group's operations. At present, under the guidance of the local government, the Group's Zhengzhou park is continuing to implement epidemic prevention measures, closed-loop management, point-to-point commuting, daily nucleic acid and antigen screening, and providing employees with complimentary three-meals-a-day. In addition, Foxconn has added a 24-hour care hotline, volunteer services and other employee care measures. The Group will continue to provide employees with accurate information on epidemic prevention.

8.3 For colleagues in the park, the Group is ensuring the health and safety of colleagues working on the production lines, in line with epidemic prevention and safety production standards. For employees asked to wait in the observation area managed by the local government, the Group is making every effort, in supporting the government, to provide necessary material supplies, medicines and guarantees for livelihoods. Currently, material supplies are ample. Due to the gradual stabilization of the epidemic, the government agreed to resume dine-in meals to improve the convenience and satisfaction of employees' lives. At the same time, for some employees who want to return home, the park is cooperating with the government to organize personnel and vehicles to provide a point-to-point orderly return service for employees from today (10/30);

8.4 The Group's Zhengzhou park operation, in coordination with the government's epidemic prevention, is gradually coming under control. The Group will also coordinate back-up production capacity with our other parks to reduce any potential impact.

Online rumors about 20,000 being diagnosed with Covid in the Zhengzhou park are patently false. A small number of employees are affected by the epidemic. Currently, operation and production in the park are relatively stable with health and safety measures for employees being maintained.
