HgCapital Trust plc ("HGT") announces Appointment of Director

HGT announces that Mrs Pilar Junco has been appointed as a Non-executive Director of HGT with effect from 20 July 2020.

Pilar is a Managing Partner and Chief Strategy & Client Officer at Altamar Capital Partners, a leading independent manager of international private equity and other private assets based in Madrid, Barcelona, New York and Santiago de Chile. Pilar leads Altamar's efforts to expand internationally, as well as strategic initiatives for the firm.

Before joining Altamar, Pilar worked in London at Blackstone for 13 years, where most recently she acted as a Senior Managing Director and Head of their non-US (EMEA & APAC) Private Wealth Management and Retail business. She previously led the institutional investors business in Europe and was COO for the firm's Private Equity team in Europe.

Prior to that, Pilar worked at the Boston Consulting Group in London, at JP Morgan in London and New York and at the Financial Times.

She received an MBA from INSEAD and graduated from University College London (B.Sc. in Economics) and the University of Siegen (Germany).
