Highland Gold Mining Limited07 May 2008 Highland Gold Mining Limited - Holding(s) in Company 7 May 2008 Highland Gold Mining Limited ("the Company")Notification of significant holding and Directors dealings The Company was notified on 28 April 2008, of the intended sale of 26,020,000shares in the Company by Millhouse LLC through its nominee, PrimerodInternational Limited (8.0% of the issued share capital of the Company) and on 7May 2008 that the sale had been concluded on 7 May 2008. Following this sale,Millhouse LLC through its nominee, Primerod International Limited has aninterest in 104,080,000 ordinary shares of £0.001 each in the capital of theCompany, representing 32.0% of the total issued share capital of the Company. Persons connected with Eugene Shvidler, Non-executive Director of the Company,have acquired 26,020,000 ordinary shares of £0.001 per share in the capital ofthe Company on 7 May, 2008 at a price of US$3.048 per share. Eugene Shvidler, together with the persons connected with him, own 26,020,000ordinary shares of £0.001 per share in the capital of the Company representing8.0% of the total issued share capital of the Company. The new shareholders haveagreed to be party to and abide by the terms of the Relationship Agreementbetween the Company and Millhouse LLC dated 4 December 2007. James Cross, Non-Executive Chairman of the Company has notified the Company thathe has sold 330,000 ordinary shares of £0.001 each in the capital of the Companyon 6 May 2008 at a price of 188.50 pence per share. Following this sale JamesCross holds 10,000 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company and options tosubscribe for 500,000 ordinary shares. Christopher Palmer Tomkinson, Non-Executive Director has notified the Companythat persons connected with him have sold 5,646 ordinary shares of £0.001 pershare on 6 May 2008 at a price of 181.77 pence per share, the proceeds of whichwill be donated to The Highland Charitable Trust. Following the sale he and orpersons connected with him retain an interest of 655,316 ordinary shares in thecapital of the Company. The issued share capital and total number of voting rights of the Company at 7May 2008 is 325,197,098 ordinary shares of £0.001 per share. The figure of325,197,098 shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for thecalculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify theirinterest in, or a change to their interest in the Company, under the FSA'sDisclosure and Transparency Rules.
