NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS AND PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (PDMR)

The Company announces that on 25 January 2010 Paul McClenaghan an executive director of the Company, acquired 896 Halfords Group plc ordinary shares of 1 pence each ("Shares"), by virtue of the Company's Dividend Reinvestment Plan. These shares were purchased at a price of £3.91 per share.

As a result of the Company's Dividend Reinvestment Plan, Paul McClenaghan has, since January 2009 acquired;
