Headlam Group plc ("Headlam") - purchase of shares

Notification under paragraph 3.1.2R of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules 

Headlam announces that it has been notified today that Mr David Grove (a person discharging managerial

responsibilities within Headlam) purchased 5,000 ordinary shares in Headlam at a price of 302.75 pence

per share on 12 September 2008 and 5,000 ordinary shares in Headlam at a price of 284.63 pence per

share on 15 September 2008.

Following this transaction, Mr D Grove is beneficially interested in 30,000 ordinary shares in Headlam,

representing approximately 0.03% of the issued share capital. 

The place of this transaction was the London Stock Exchange.
