HALOPURE® CHINA APPROVAL CERTIFICATE RENEWED BY THE CHINESE NATIONAL HEALTH REGULATORY AUTHORITY

HaloSource Inc. (HAL.LN, HALO.LN), the global clean water technology company traded on London's AIM, is pleased to announce today that the Company has successfully had its approval certificate renewed by the former Chinese Ministry of Health ("MOH") for HaloPure® for use in drinking water purification devices, in what is a rapidly growing business segment. HaloPure® media has similarly been registered with the United States Environmental Protection Agency.

HaloPure® was the first new water purification technology to be approved, in April 2011, under a rigorous standard developed by China's MOH. Due to a structural change in 2014 by the Chinese central government, the former MOH has been merged into the "National Health and Family Planning Commission", and the regulatory authorities for water safety are now decentralized to provincial and municipal levels. While the contents and effects remains the same for the new certificate in China for HaloPure®, the authorization body is now from the "Shanghai Health and Family Planning Commission." HaloPure®'s certificate is nationally accepted across all regions of China, helping to ensure their partnerships with leading consumer goods companies continue to strengthen and that their partners continue to deploy products, which leverage their drinking water purification technology, nationally across China.

HaloSource's partnership with Perfect, a leading global supplier of consumer goods in the direct selling channel in China, was first announced in April 2012. The companies worked together through extended research and development and Perfect chose HaloSource's HaloPure® media as the key enabling technology in its very first water purifier launched in China in September 2012. Under the terms of the supply agreement, Perfect holds the exclusive right to sell pressurized water purification devices powered by HaloPure® technology through its direct sales channels in China. Perfect is continuing a national roll out of its pressure fed water purification device.

In December 2014, HaloSource extended its stand-still agreement with a major multi-national consumer goods company ("MNC") for incorporation of its leading bromine-based HaloPure® disinfection technology in their devices sold in China for the third consecutive year, while continuing to ship cartridges in support of their national launch in China. HaloSource has partnered with the MNC since 2012 and supplied its HaloPure® disinfection technology for deployment in certain gravity fed water purification devices sold through the retail and online channels on an exclusive basis.
