Gary McGann and Pat Gunne appointed to Green REIT Board of Directors

Dublin, 4 June, 2014 | Green REIT Plc, ("Green REIT" or the "Company"), the Irish property investment company, announces the appointment of Mr Gary McGann and Mr Pat Gunne, to the Board as non-executive Directors with immediate effect.
Gary McGann | Independent, Non-Executive Director
Gary McGann (63) is Group Chief Executive Officer of Smurfit Kappa Group plc, one of the leading producers of paper-based packaging in the world. Gary has been Group CEO since 2002. He joined the Smurfit Group in 1998 as Chief Financial Officer and has also served as President and Chief Operations Officer. Prior to this he held the position of Group CEO of Aer Lingus and CEO of Gilbeys of Ireland.
Mr. McGann is Chairman of Aon Ireland; a Director of UDG Healthcare plc; a Director of IBEC (Irish Business and Employers´ Confederation); and, a Director of the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. He is also a member of the ERT (European Round Table of Industrialists) and the Chairman of CEPI (Confederation of European Paper Industries). He was named RISI's 2014 European CEO of the Year and also received Institutional Investor Magazine's 2013 Award for Best CEO in the sector.
Pat Gunne | Non-Executive Director
Pat Gunne (42) is Chief Executive of the various Green Property businesses including Green Property REIT Ventures Ltd. ("GPRV"). GPRV is the entity responsible for the day to day management of Green REIT and is the entity Green Property's executive team developed to promote and launch Green REIT Plc. Pat joined Green Property in January 2009 where he initially focused on developing Green Property's successful real estate workout business which acts on behalf of banks and private equity firms. He was formerly European board director of CB Richard Ellis. Pat was managing director of the real estate agency Gunne Commercial from 1997 2007 which was acquired by CB Richard Ellis in 2007. Pat is a Chartered Surveyor.
