Greggs PLC24 March 2006 Greggs plc ("the Company") announces that, on 23 March 2006, Andrew Davison, IanEdgeworth and Clare McCann (nee Wilson) (as trustees of the Greggs EmployeeBenefit Trust) notified the Company that they had, on 23 March 2006, acquired439,829 ordinary shares of 20p each in the Company ("Shares") at £37.00 perShare (3.6% of the issued share capital). The total number of Shares held inthe Employee Benefit Trust following this notification is 472,753 (3.88%). Notes 1. Following this notification Andrew Davison has an interestin 1,157,194 Shares, representing 9.49% of the issued share capital of theCompany. 2.
