("Goldenport" or "the Company"), (LSE: GPRT) the international shipping company that owns and operates a fleet of container and dry-bulk vessels,Β notifies that the Company's outstanding issued share capital as at close of business onΒ 10Β NovemberΒ 2009Β consists of 70,820,611 shares of common stock with a nominal valueΒ of US$0.01 each with voting rights ("Common Stock Shares"). No Common Stock Shares are held in Treasury; therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company is 70,820,611.Β
The above figure ofΒ 70,820,611Β may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company.
Investors are reminded of the obligation to notify the Company of the acquisition or disposal of holdings of voting rights in the Company resulting fromΒ shareholdings or through direct or indirect holdings ofΒ relevant financial instrumentsΒ under Chapter 5 of the Disclosure & Transparency Rules published by the Financial Services Authority.
