The Board of Great Portland Estates plc announces that the Trust purchased the following ordinary
shares of 12.5p each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company:

The Ordinary Shares held by the Trust are used to satisfy awards in the Company's Long-Term Incentive Plan and Share Matching Plan.
The Executive Directors are potential beneficiaries of the Trust and are deemed to be interested in the shares held by the Trust.
Following this transaction the Trust retains an interest in 1,022,179 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.33% of the Company's total issued ordinary share capital.
