Result of AGM
At the Company's Annual General Meeting held at 4pm on Wednesday 30 June, shareholders passed Ordinary resolutions 1 - 7.
The Board notes that special resolutions 8, 9, 10 and 11 did not pass. Resolutions 8, 9 and 10 were relatively standard authorities that UK listed companies take at annual general meetings, relating to the allotment of 5% of shares for cash on a non-pre-emptive basis and purchase of own shares. Resolution 11 was included to amend the Articles of Associate to permit hybrid meetings for in person and virtual attendance at general meetings. The board is disappointed not to receive this limited additional flexibility of the special resolutions to pursue opportunities in the interests of the Company and its shareholders and to ensure general meetings can be accessible by all in future.
The results of the AGM will be published on the Company's website as soon as practicable following the meeting.
