PDMRs' Share Options

Genus announces that conditional nil-cost share options were granted under the Genus 2004 Performance Share Plan on 19 September 2008 to Mr Ian Biggs, Chief Operating Officer, The Americas as to 51,568 shares in the Company, to Mr Philip Acton, Chief Operating Officer, Europe & Asia as to 45,122 shares, to Mr Steve Amies, Chief Operating Officer, Global Research & Strategy as to 22,561 shares and to Mr Ian Farrelly, Group Company Secretary & General Counsel as to 30,941 shares.

These options are subject to performance conditions which relate to growth in the Company's earnings per share over a three year period and which trigger vesting on an incremental basis.

Mr Ian Biggs' direct shareholding stands at 3,375 ordinary shares which represents 0.00567% of the issued share capital of the Company which is currently 59,505,030 ordinary shares. In addition, he is the beneficial owner of 185,822 conditional shares.  Mr Philip Acton's direct shareholding stands at 21,104 ordinary shares which represents 0.03546% of the issued share capital of the Company. In addition, he is the beneficial owner of 144,207 conditional shares. Mr Steve Amies' direct shareholding stands at nil ordinary shares. In addition, he is the beneficial owner of 146,563 share options and conditional shares. Mr Ian Farrelly's direct shareholding stands at nil ordinary shares. In addition, he is the beneficial owner of 57,657 share options and conditional shares.
