Directors' and PDMRs' Share Options

Genus announces that conditional nil-cost share options were granted under the Genus 2004 Performance Share Plan ("the Plan") today to Richard Wood, Chief Executive, as to 68,755 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company ("Shares"), to John Worby, Group Finance Director, as to 42,017 Shares, to Ian Biggs, Chief Operating Officer, The Americas as to 30,558 Shares, to Thomas Philip Acton, Chief Operating Officer, Europe & Asia as to 30,558 shares, to Ian Farrelly, Group Company Secretary & General Counsel as to 22,154 shares and to David Crosby, Group Financial Controller as to 19,404 shares.

These options are subject to performance conditions which relate to growth in the Company's earnings per share over a three year period and which trigger vesting on an incremental basis.

Richard Wood's direct shareholding in the Company stands at 120,856 Shares representing 0.203% of the issued share capital of the Company that is currently 59,563,973 Shares. In addition, he is the beneficial owner of 292,465 conditional shares and nil-cost options.

John Worby's direct shareholding stands at 10,000 Shares representing 0.016% of the issued share capital of the Company. In addition, he is the beneficial owner of 128,540 nil-cost options. 

Ian Biggs' direct shareholding stands at 30,152 Shares representing 0.051% of the issued share capital of the Company. In addition, he is the beneficial owner of 116,490 conditional shares and nil-cost options. 

Thomas Philip Acton's direct shareholding stands at 37,864 Shares representing 0.064% of the issued share capital of the Company. In addition, he is the beneficial owner of 109,185 conditional shares and nil-cost options.

Ian Farrelly has no direct shareholding in the Company and is the beneficial owner of 70,277 nil-cost share options and 9,534 market value share options. 

David Crosby has no direct shareholding in the Company and is the beneficial owner of 19,404 nil-cost share options and 16,373 market value share options.
