Directors' and PDMRs' Share Options

Genus announces that conditional nil-cost share options were granted under the Genus 2004 Performance Share Plan ("the Plan") today to John Worby, Group Finance Director, as to 37,680 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company ("Shares"), to Ian Biggs, Head of Global Product & Business Strategy, as to 27,404 Shares, to Thomas Philip Acton, Chief Operating Officer of Europe & The Far East as to 27,404 Shares, to Bill Christianson, Chief Operating Officer of The Americas, as to 24,418 Shares, to Ian Farrelly, Group Company Secretary & General Counsel as to 21,923 Shares and to David Crosby, Group Financial Controller, as to 19,457 Shares.

These options are subject to performance conditions which relate to growth in the Company's earnings per share over a three year period and which trigger vesting on an incremental basis.

John Worby's direct shareholding stands at 10,000 Shares representing 0.017% of the issued share capital of the Company. In addition, he is the beneficial owner of 166,220 nil-cost options. 

Ian Biggs' direct shareholding stands at 3,375 Shares representing 0.006% of the issued share capital of the Company. In addition, he is the beneficial owner of 143,894 conditional shares and nil-cost options. 

Thomas Philip Acton's direct shareholding stands at 21,104 Shares representing 0.035% of the issued share capital of the Company. In addition, he is the beneficial owner of 136,589 conditional shares and nil-cost options.

Bill Christianson has no direct shareholding in the Company and is the beneficial owner of 36,500 nil-cost share options and 34,693 market value share options.

Ian Farrelly has no direct shareholding in the Company and is the beneficial owner of 92,200 conditional shares and nil-cost share options.

David Crosby has no direct shareholding in the Company and is the beneficial owner of 38,861 nil-cost share options and 16,373 market value share options.
