Statement re: Media speculation

Globaltrans Investment PLC (together with its consolidated subsidiaries the "Company", "Globaltrans" or the "Group", LSE ticker: GLTR) notes the recent press speculation regarding a potential merger with NefteTransService. The Company emphasises that its strategy remains to seek out growth both organically and by selective acquisitions with the aim of creating value for the Group and all its shareholders. To this end, the Company consistently evaluates opportunities in the Russian rail freight market however it is currently not engaged in any acquisition discussions with NefteTransService.
