Gleeson(M J)Group PLC07 April 2006 MJ GLEESON GROUP PLC (the "Company") 7 April 2006 Blocklisting and Issue of Equity The Company has applied to the UK Listing Authority for the admission of 40,000ordinary 2p shares, which were issued pursuant to the exercise of staff shareoptions, to be admitted to the Official List, and to trading on the London StockExchange. These shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares of theCompany and dealings are expected to commence on 12 April 2006. The issued sharecapital of the Company following this announcement is 51,483,385 ordinary sharesof 2p each.
