Company's subsidiary Cablevisión S.A. Exercises Option
On 28 January 2016, Cablevisión S.A. ("Cablevisión"), a subsidiary of Grupo Clarín S.A. (the "Company") supplemented the information filed with the Argentine Securities Commission and the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange on 14 September 2015 in connection with the offer to acquire Nextel Communications Argentina S.R.L. ("Nextel Argentina"). In that regard, Cablevisión informed that Cablevisión and its subsidiary Televisión Dirigida S.A. had exercised the option to acquire 51% of the capital stock and votes of Nextel Argentina and, consequently, Cablevisión had become, directly and indirectly, the holder of 100% of the capital stock and votes of Nextel Argentina, subject to the approval of the ENTE NACIONAL DE COMUNICACIONES (National Communications Agency or ENACOM).
Cablevisión and Nextel Argentina will file for approval of the ENACOM following the procedure provided under Section 8 of Decree No. 267/2015.
