Cablevisión operations in Paraguay

On 16 February 2012, Grupo Clarín S.A. (the "Company") informed the Argentine Securities Commission and the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange that its subsidiary Cablevisión S.A. ("Cablevisión") provides pay-television and internet access services in Paraguay and is the leader in that market. At the initiative of other participants in the communications market, Cablevisión is exploring different strategic scenarios for its operations in Paraguay. This has raised a potential association / acquisition interest in certain market players. To date, no commitments have been assumed in that respect and conversations are subject to non-disclosure agreements.
