Prestigio to provide Globo's GO!Enterprise on smartphones and tablets, up to 2.5 million devices

GLOBO Plc (LSE: GBO) the international Mobile solutions and SaaS provider, is delighted to announce an alliance with Prestigio, under which GO!Enterprise will be made available on all of its smartphones and tablets. This follows the distribution agreement signed in July, 2012, between Globo and ASBISC Enterprises plc to distribute GO!Enterprise Server products in key markets.

Prestigio, owned by ASBIS, is one of the leading brands of mobile devices in the EMEA region. The first roll out under the agreement will begin in Russia towards the end of December 2012. The estimated volume of Prestigio devices that can be enabled with GO!Enterpise technology in the coming year is 2.5 million.

Prestigio's state-of-the art Android-based smartphones and tablets, will be enabled by the GO!Enterprise Mobile Client and GO!Enterprise Office solution, to provide enterprise grade and totally secure (FIPS 140-2 compliant) mobile productivity and collaboration enablement of the employees, increasing efficiency in many business processes and activities. This offering will be available for both on premise and cloud operation, enabling customers of all sizes to take advantage of the unique Enterprise mobility characteristics that GO!Enterprise offers and to embrace a "Bring Your Own Device" (BYOD) strategy. 

This new and innovative business partnership was presented by ASBIS CEO, Siarhei Kostevitch in a press conference in Moscow on Friday, 16 November. Other countries will soon follow, starting with Serbia where a press conference is scheduled on Monday, 26 November.
