AGM Statement

GB Group Plc, the Identity Management specialist, will be holding its Annual General Meeting today. At the meeting, the Group's Chairman, David Rasche, will provide the following statement:

"The Group has made good progress in the first quarter of the financial year, demonstrating strong year on year growth, and continues to perform well.

Our DataAuthentication division, which provides the electronic ID verification component of GB Group's identity management offerings, continues to grow, benefiting from new client additions as a result of both the enrichment of its solutions and the increasing demand for electronic identity verification solutions.

Our DataSolutions division, which provides the remaining three of GB Group's identity management offerings, ID Customer Registration; ID Tracing; and ID Marketing Services, is well positioned to address the opportunities in its markets and continues to grow both organically and as a result of the acquisitions made over the last 12 months.

As previously reported at the time of the final results in May 2012, our three acquisitions made during the last financial year have been successfully integrated into the business and continue to trade in line with our expectations.

The Board remains confident that GB Group will perform strongly this year and will continue to develop strategically, providing continued value to both our shareholders and clients."

The Group expects to announce its half year results for the six months ended 30 September 2012 at the end of November 2012.
