Games Workshop Group PLC02 December 2005 Games Workshop Group PLC (the "Company") The Company received notification on 2 December 2005 that Schroder InvestmentManagement Limited ("SIML"), have an interest in 4,513,457 ordinary shares of 5pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") which are held in portfoliosmanaged on a discretionary basis for clients of SIML under investment managementagreements. Included in this figure are: (i) 2,464,048 ordinary shares held in (a) unit trust(s) operated and managed byan affiliated company, Schroder Unit Trusts Limited ("SUTL"), and registered orto be registered in the name of Chase Nominees Limited, (ii) 240,000 Ordinary Shares registered in the name of Chase Manhattan Bank, (iii) 787,177 Ordinary Shares registered in the name of British Coal StaffSuperannuation a/c: P, (iv) 822,232 Ordinary Shares registered in the name of Mineworkers' PensionScheme a/c: R, and (vi) 200,000 Ordinary Shares registered in the name of Chase Nominees Limited. A subsidiary, Schroder Investment Management North America Ltd ("SIMNA Ltd"), ismanaging (a) portfolio(s) on a similar basis holding a further 300,000 OrdinaryShares. These Ordinary Shares are registered or are to be registered in the nameof Chase Nominees Limited. SIML and their affiliated companies are therefore interested in 4,813,457Ordinary Shares in aggregate, representing approximately 15.47 per cent. of theCompany's issued share capital. This notification is made: (a) in respect of SIML's interest as investment managers, (b) on behalf of SUTL and SIMNA Ltd in relation to the interest it is treated ashaving under the Companies Act 1985 (the "Act"), and (c) on behalf of Schroders plc, SIML's holding company, which is treated ashaving an interest in all of the above shares under the Act by virtue of itsownership of SIMNA Ltd, SUTL and SIML.
