Gamma Communications plc ("Gamma"), a leading technology-based provider of communications services to the business markets in the UK and Europe announces that Alan Gibbins has informed the Board that, after over six years with Gamma, he will step down from his role as non-executive director and from the Board after the next AGM which is to be held on 20 May 2021.

Alan has chaired Gamma's audit committee since his appointment to the board just prior to the Company's flotation in October 2014. Charlotta Ginman will take over as Chair of the audit committee following the AGM. Charlotta joined the Board in September 2020 as an Independent Non-Executive Director and is currently chair of the audit committees at Keywords Studios plc, Pacific Asset Trust plc and Polar Capital Technology Trust plc.

During his time at Gamma, Alan has overseen the executives' development of the financial control environment of the Group as it has grown quickly over a short period. He has also contributed significantly in formulating and overseeing the implementation of the Group's strategy.
