GIANT Contract Win with Asian Regional Patents Office

Fusionex, a multi-award winning, London Stock Exchange AIM-listed software provider specialising in Analytics, Business Intelligence, Big Data and the Internet of Things (IoT), today announces that it has secured another win for Fusionex Insights (GIANT), Fusionex's Advanced (Big Data) Analytics software, with a regional patent registration office in Asia.

The client receives circa 50,000 patent applications every year and is tasked with strengthening intellectual property laws and providing comprehensive and useful information on intellectual property. The office is not only responsible for the evaluation of received applications before approving them, but also divides as well as categorises registrations into patents, copyrights, trademarks, industrial designs, geographical indications and integrated circuit layout designs.

This contract win further solidifies Fusionex's strength and growing reputation in assisting, not only businesses with physical products, but also clients that have intellectual property, filings and volumes of unstructured data at their core. With Fusionex GIANT, the Client will now be able to offer value and insight from an evaluation, certification, and records-keeping and approval standpoint, thus bringing the information and data-driven age to the forefront.

The work processes of the client are anticipated to benefit immediately from the use of Fusionex GIANT. The amount of applications received by the patent office has been seeing double digit growth every year. Benefits through the usage of GIANT will include a more comprehensive overview and insights of applicants, approvals, locales, possible duplicates/conflicts and industries with a broader insights and foresight (to anticipate the load and other scenarios). Prior to Fusionex GIANT, this was not possible based on the client's current methods of data compilation.

Fusionex GIANT will also offer enhanced visualization and advanced analytics that correspond to each respective chart's movement when queried/edited. Real-time information would be accessible via easy-to-understand dashboards, which can be used by staff at all levels instead of just being limited to technical teams.

Most importantly, users at the client's office will be able to delve deeper into their datasets and discover useful trends to streamline their work processes and decision making. This, in turn, can be transformed into actionable insights to derive business value.
