Filtronic PLC06 May 2008 Filtronic plc Special Dividend Filtronic plc announces that, following the completion of the capital reductionapproved by shareholders on 28 March 2008, it will pay a special dividend of120p per share on Friday 30 May 2008, to those shareholders on the register on23 May 2008. The ex-dividend date will be 21 May 2008. This special dividend, which will be paid by way of an interim dividend, willamount to approximately £89.2 million, based on the issued share capital of74,323,093 ordinary shares as at 6 May 2008. In connection with this specialdividend, interim accounts for Filtronic plc (for the period 1 June 2007 to 22April 2008) have been approved by the Board and were filed at Companies House,on 2 May 2008, as required by the Companies Act 2006.
