Frontier Silicon powers new Philips Spotify multi-room speakers
Toumaz Limited (AIM: TMZ, 'Toumaz', or 'the Group'), a pioneer in ultra-low power wireless semiconductor technology, announces that Frontier Silicon, its consumer audio division, has been chosen as technology supplier for Philips's new range of wireless speakers - launched today at the IFA consumer electronics tradeshow in Berlin.
The Philips SW700M and SW750M speakers are designed for use with Spotify Connect, the premium service which allows users to control their music through a smartphone or tablet, and play it out through compatible connected consumer electronic devices. This new range offers multi-room capability with world-class audio synchronisation and user experience - enabled by the latest version of Frontier Silicon's Venice 6.5 module.
