Formal Chairman Appointment
Frontier (AIM: FST), a pioneer in technologies for Digital Radio and Smart IoT devices, announces that existing Senior Independent Non-Executive Director, Sir Hossein Yassaie, has transitioned to and been formally appointed as Chairman of the Group's Board.
Sir Hossein Yassaie is a recognised figure on the world technology stage with directorships and strategic advisory roles in several innovative technology companies. As CEO of Imagination Technologies Group plc until 2016, Sir Hossein has a long association with Frontier, having been a co-founder and a Director of the Group when Imagination Technologies was a shareholder in the business. After an absence of several years, he re-joined the Board in March 2018 as an independent Non-Executive Director.
In the 14 months since his return to the Board Sir Hossein has increasingly been performing the role of acting Chairman and his technology expertise, market knowledge and industry relationships, coupled with his extensive PLC experience and stewardship, have provided significant benefit to the Group.
