Directors interest in shares
The Company has granted options to the executive directors of the Company under the Long Term Incentive Plan (2001) which was approved by shareholders in April 2001 and the Executive Share Option Scheme (2005) which was approved by shareholders on 29 April 2005 and the Inland Revenue on 17 June 2005.
Long Term Incentive Plan
The options granted under the Long Term Incentive Plan have been granted at an exercise price of nil cost. The award is granted subject to the performance conditions stipulated in the scheme rules and the option is exercisable on 30 March 2013 assuming that the performance conditions are met.
No consideration was paid for the grant of options.
Executive Share Option Scheme
The options granted under the Executive Share Option Scheme have been granted at a price of 410.33p per share, being the average middle market price of a share over the three dealing days immediately preceding the date of grant. The award is granted subject to the performance conditions stipulated in the scheme rules and the option is exercisable from 19 March 2013 to 19 March 2020 assuming that the performance conditions are met.

The Company was notified on 30 March 2010 that Mr M.J.Shields an executive director of the Company has sold 4,500 Ordinary Shares in the Company at a price of £4.225 per share. Following this transaction Mr Shields has a beneficial interest in the Company's issued share capital of 197,101 Ordinary Shares representing 0.40 per cent of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
The Company was notified on 1 April 2010 that Mr N P Henry, an executive director of the Company, transferred 15,659 Ordinary Shares in the Company from his own name into that of his pension fund. Following this transaction Mr Henry's beneficial interest remains at 72,827 Ordinary Shares representing 0.15 per cent of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
This announcement is made in accordance with the requirements of DTR 3.1.4.
