2008 ANNUAL REPORT AND ACCOUNTS AND NOTICE OF
ANNUAL MEETING OF STOCKHOLDERS
Frontera Resources Corporation (London Stock Exchange, AIM Market - Symbol: FRR; OTCQX Market, U.S.A. - Symbol: FRTE), an independent oil and gas exploration and production company, announced that today its Annual Report and Accounts for the year-ended December 31, 2008 and notice of annual meeting of stockholders and accompanying proxy statement have been mailed to stockholders.
The annual meeting of stockholders will be held beginning at 10:00 a.m. Central Time on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at the Embassy Suites Hotel, Remington Ballroom, 2911 Sage Road, Houston, Texas 77056. Stockholders of record as of June 1, 2009 are entitled to notice of and to vote at the meeting.
