Voting Rights and Share Capital

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules (DTR 5.6.1R) First Quantum Minerals Ltd. ("the Company") hereby notifies the market that at 31 May 2013:

The number of the Company's common shares in issue was 590,836,559

The Company currently does not hold any common shares in Treasury as at the date of this disclosure.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company

is 590,836,559

The above figure (590,836,559) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
