In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules (DTR 5.6.1R) First Quantum Minerals Ltd. ("the Company") hereby notifies the market that at 31 August 2015:

The number of the Company's common shares in issue was 688,967,162

The Company currently holds the following common sharesin Treasury as at the date of this disclosure. 5,902,855

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company

is 683,064,307

The above figure (683,064,307) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
