In accordance with Prospectus Rule 5.2, First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (the "Company") submits its second Annual Information Update, following the publication of the 2008 Annual Report which was posted to shareholders on 17 April 2009. This Annual Information Update refers to information that has been published in the UK and Canada.
This Annual Information Update provides information from 24 April 2008 to 7 May 2009. The Company's shares were admitted to the Official List of the London Stock Exchange on 18 May 2007, having previously been traded on AIM. The primary listing of the Company's shares is on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
