First Quantum Minerals Ld17 June 2005 First Quantum Minerals Ltd ("the Company") Block Admission and Additional Listing Application has been made today to the London Stock Exchange for a blockadmission for 185,000 common shares of no par value in the Company to beadmitted to trading on AIM upon their issuance. This block admission is pursuantto the granting of share options under section 4 of the Company's 1997 EmployeeStock Option Plan. The shares are expected to be admitted on 22 June 2005 Further, application has been made for the additional listing of 50,000 commonshares of no par value in the Company pursuant to the exercise of options.
