Current report according to Article 234 para. (1) letter g) of the Financial Supervisory Authority Regulation no. 5/2018 on issuers of financial instruments and market operations, as well as the provisions of Article 99 letter h) of the Code of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, Title II, Issuers and Financial Instruments. Important events to be reported: Announcement regarding selection process for an Alternative Investment Fund Manager for Fondul Proprietatea Franklin Templeton International Services S.À R.L. ("Franklin Templeton"), in its capacity as Alternative Investment Fund Manager ("AIFM") and sole director of Fondul Proprietatea S.A. ("the Fund"), hereby informs investors that after careful consideration, it has decided not to submit a response to the Request for Proposal in the ongoing selection process for the Fund's Alternative Investment Fund Manager. The decision to undertake a selection process was approved by shareholders during the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held on 25 September 2023, with the selection criteria being subsequently approved at an Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held on 27 September 2024. Following the approval of the selection criteria, the Board of Nominees disclosed the commencement of the selection process on 7 October 2024 with prospective AIFM candidates invited to register their interest to the selection advisor, Deutsche Numis, no later than 21 October 2024. On 22 October 2024, the Board of Nominees announced a prolongation of the deadline for submissions until 4 November 2024. On 26 November 2024 the Board of Nominees announced further details regarding submissions of interest received by the 4 November 2024 deadline. Franklin Templeton remains committed to the management of the Fund until the end of its mandate and extends its gratitude to all stakeholders, including shareholders in the Fund, the Government of Romania and other co-shareholders in portfolio companies, the Board of Nominees, the Bucharest Stock Exchange, the Financial Supervisory Authority, and various other contributors in Romania, for their continued support and collaboration.
