Changes to composition of certain Committees of the Board
On 22 May 2019 Ferguson plc ("Company") announced that with effect from the conclusion of the Company's 2019 Annual General Meeting ("AGM") Geoff Drabble would succeed Gareth Davis as Chairman of the Company. Mr Davis will step down from the Board on 31 January 2020. The Company confirms that with effect from the conclusion of the Company's AGM held earlier today:
- Mr Davis has stepped down as Chairman of the Company and Mr Drabble has taken up his appointment as Chairman,
- Mr Davis has stepped down as Chairman of the Nominations Committee and as a member of the Major Announcements Committee. He will remain a member of the Nominations Committee until he steps down from the Board, and
- Mr Drabble has been appointed as Chairman of the Nominations Committee and as a member of the Major Announcements Committee, and he has ceased to be a member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees.
This notification is made pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.11R.
