Cancellation of share premium account
Frenkel Topping Group Plc (the "Company") announces that, further to the announcement made on 10 June 2011, the Court order approving the cancellation of the share premium account ("the Cancellation") has been registered by the Registrar of Companies and, accordingly, the Cancellation has become effective.
The amount standing to the credit of the Company's share premium account at 31 December 2010 was £5,744,876. Following the Cancellation, the amount cancelled has been used to eliminate the deficit on the Company's profit and loss account, which, as at 31 December 2010, was £1,782,601. The balance of the amount cancelled will be available to the Company for the payment of dividends to shareholders and the purchase by the Company of its own shares, subject in each case to certain conditions having been met and to the Board considering such action as being in the best interests of the Company and its shareholders.
