Pre close trading update

First Derivatives, the provider of software and support services to the investment banking market and derivatives technology industry, announces that the Company will release its interim statement of results for the six months ended 31 August 2009 in mid October.

The Company is pleased to report that trading during the first half of the year has been in line with management forecasts and the board anticipates that this will continue such that trading for the full year will be in line with current market expectations.
