Funding Circle Holdings plc (the "Company")
Purchase of shares by EBT
Funding Circle Holdings plc (the "Company") announces that Zedra Trust Company (Guernsey) Limited, in its capacity as trustee (the "Trustee") of the Company's Employee Benefit Trust (the "Trust"), has started making market purchases of ordinary shares in the Company for the benefit of the Trust of up to 5% of the Company's issued share capital (the "Market Purchases"). The shares will be used to help meet future obligations arising under the Company's various share plans.
The Market Purchases are subject to the Trustee's absolute discretion as to the purchase price to be paid within pre-agreed parameters set by the Company, including during any prohibited periods of the Company, as determined by the UK Market Abuse Regulation, which may fall during the period of the Market Purchases.
The EBT held 7,832,952 ordinary shares as at 31 July 2022, which represents c.2.17% of the Company's current issued share capital.
