Update on trading for the six months ended 31 July 2011

The Board are pleased to announce that profit for the first half will be in-line with management expectations. The Group achieved growth in like-for-like sales in our UK stores despite the difficult market conditions. Net cash at the end of the period was circa £30.5 million which was ahead of our expectations. Our winter 2011 wholesale orders are ahead of last year, so we approach the important winter season with confidence.
French Connection Group plc will announce its half-year results for the six month period to 31 July 2011 in September.
