ENGAGE XR Holdings Plc (AIM: EXR; Euronext Growth: EXR), a virtual reality ('VR') technology company, is pleased to confirm the official launch of its new metaverse product, ENGAGE Link today. The launch completes the transformation of the Group into a metaverse technology company.

ENGAGE Link has been developed by the Group as a metaverse platform designed for corporations, professionals, education organisations, and event organisers. ENGAGE Link has been designed to allow the Group's wide-ranging customer base to use the metaverse to create their own virtual worlds so as to provide services directly to their own clients and also to engage with employees and suppliers. ENGAGE Link is an evolution of the Group's successful immersive communications platform, ENGAGE which has grown to serve more than 180 commercial customers in the three years since its launch in 2019.

ENGAGE Link is a publicly explorable persistent metaverse world where users can visit and socialise with other professionals and visit client-made virtual locations to take part in meetups, training days, product launches, demonstrations, and events, including full-length concerts. ENGAGE Link is expected to be used extensively for private events, stakeholder communications, education, and training.

ENGAGE Link is divided into locations called Plazas, and the Group has secured 14 launch partners who have set up or are in the process of building their metaverse locations within the platform. The Group has previously announced Lenovo, HTC and The Virtual Human Interaction Lab at Stanford University as launch partners but are delighted that new blue chip enterprise clients such as Kia and KPMG US have also joined as launch partners. The initial plazas are as follows:

· Enterprise Plaza - for corporations and professionals which includes HTC, KIA, KPMG US, Lenovo, MTN, and Victory XR.

· Education Plaza - primarily a location for educational institutions and organisations including Optima Ed, Adtalem, the University of Miami Patti and Allan Herbert Business School, Stanford University and Victory XR. ENGAGE Link is already being used as a location for 10 Meta-funded "Metaversities" providing education to thousands of students in the US working with other virtual schools around the globe.

· Creative Plaza - a location for brands, artists, content studios and creatives. The creative plaza will showcase some of the most creative and boundary pushing ideas in the metaverse. This includes artists such as FatBoy Slim (a.k.a Norman Cook) who will be performing a full-length virtual concert in ENGAGE Link early in 2023.

· Central Plaza - the starting point for new visitors to the ENGAGE Link metaverse. It will be used as a meeting point and event space. Visitors can simply walk-through portals to other locations within the ENGAGE metaverse.
