Transaction in own Shares

18 May 2017 - Experian plc, the global information services company (the "Company"), hereby announces that, on 18 May 2017, 400,302 ordinary shares of 10 US cents each in the Company ("ordinary shares") were transferred from treasury to Global Shares Ireland Limited, the administrator of Experian's share plans, for nil consideration, to be used to meet obligations under employee share plans. 

The Company's capital consists of 1,005,234,905 ordinary shares with voting rights and 20 deferred shares of 10 US cents each which have no voting rights. Following the above transfer, Experian plc holds 61,958,503 shares in treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Experian plc is 943,276,402.

The figure of 943,276,402 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company's shares under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

This announcement is made in accordance with the requirements of Listing Rule 12.6.4.
