Share repurchase programme
8 April 2024 - Experian plc (the "Company"), the global information services company, hereby notifies the market that, in continuation of the share repurchase programme announced by the Company on 17 May 2023, it has entered into an irrevocable and non-discretionary arrangement with its broker, BofA Securities Europe SA, to purchase on its behalf and within certain pre-set parameters, ordinary shares of 10 US cents each in the Company during the period commencing on 8 April 2024 up to and including 30 April 2024, which period is inclusive of part of the Company's closed period from 15 April 2024 to 14 May 2024. The Company's preliminary financial results are scheduled for release on 15 May 2024.
This arrangement is in accordance with Chapter 12 of the UK Listing Authority Listing Rules and the Company's general authority to repurchase shares conferred by the Company's shareholders at the Company's annual general meeting held on 19 July 2023. The purpose of the share repurchase programme is mainly to offset deliveries under employee share plans.
