EGM Requisition

14 January 2013 - Exillon Energy plc (EXI.LN), a London Premium listed independent oil producer with assets in two oil-rich regions of Russia, Timan-Pechora ("Exillon TP") and West Siberia ("Exillon WS"), notes the press release issued today by one of our shareholders, Worldview Capital Management ("Worldview").

Shareholders with more than 10 per cent of our shares are entitled to call an EGM and we re-confirm our intention to facilitate the request, either by calling an EGM or by calling our AGM within the required period. 

Worldview's press release discusses several different areas of concern. We have discussed all of these at length with Worldview by letter, by email and in numerous face to face meetings. We have also discussed these topics on an ongoing basis with our other major shareholders. None of the material topics raised by Worldview are new or previously undisclosed.

We intend to continue our dialogue directly with all our shareholders. We do not feel that further communication via the media is in either Exillon's or our shareholders' interests.
