Major shareholding notification

EVRAZ plc ("EVRAZ" or the "Company") has been notified on 4 September 2018 by Lanebrook Limited ("Lanebrook"), the major shareholder of EVRAZ, that all its shares of the Company have been distributed by Lanebrook on 3 September 2018 to its direct shareholders in proportion to their holdings in Lanebrook. Lanebrook held 905,487,416 EVRAZ ordinary shares, or 62.74% of the total voting rights attaching to the Company's ordinary shares (the "Distribution").

The Company was advised on the same date that following the Distribution:

· the interest of Lanebrook in EVRAZ's ordinary shares has been reduced to nil;

· Crosland Global Limited ("Crosland") now holds a direct interest in 452,743,708 EVRAZ ordinary shares, or 31.37% of the total voting rights attaching to the Company's ordinary shares; and

· Greenleas International Holdings Ltd. ("Greenleas") now holds a direct interest in 440,528,064 EVRAZ ordinary shares, or 30.52% of the total voting rights attaching to the Company's ordinary shares.

The Company has been informed that the Distribution will not result in any change to the indirect economic interest held by Mr. Alexander Abramov, Mr. Alexander Frolov, Mr. Roman Abramovich and Mr. Eugene Shvidler in the Company's shares.

The Company understands that Mr. Abramov and Mr. Frolov continue to have indirect economic interests in 301,960,323 and 150,783,385, respectively, of the shares in EVRAZ held by Crosland, or 20.92% and 10.45%, respectively, of the total voting rights; that Mr. Abramovich continues to have an indirect economic interest in the 440,528,064 shares in EVRAZ held by Greenleas, or 30.52% of the total voting rights; and that Mr. Shvidler continues to have an indirect interest in 42,877,492 shares in EVRAZ, or 2.97% of the total voting rights.

The Relationship Agreement between Lanebrook and the Company has terminated as a result of the Distribution since Lanebrook is no longer a shareholder in EVRAZ. In accordance with the Listing Rules, the Company will enter into new relationship agreements with its new controlling shareholders on terms and conditions that are substantively the same as those that had been entered into with Lanebrook. It is anticipated that such new relationship agreements will be entered into as soon as practicable and, in any event, prior to the end of Q4 2018.
