5 August 2014, Oxford and Newcastle, UK: e-Therapeutics plc (AIM: ETX), the drug discovery and development company, announces that on 4 August 2014 the Company issued 144,690 ordinary shares of 0.1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") in order to satisfy the exercise of options by a former employee.

Application has been made to admit the new Ordinary Shares to trading on AIM and dealings in the new ordinary shares are expected to commence on 8 August 2014.

Following admission, the number of Ordinary Shares in issue will be 264,321,873, each carrying one voting right. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, e-Therapeutics under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
