Notice of AGM

East Star Resources PLC (LSE: EST), which is defining mineral resources in Kazakhstan for the energy revolution, announces that the Company has sent a notice to shareholders convening the Annual General Meeting of the Company (the "Notice") to be held at the offices of Hill Dickinson LLP, 105 Jermyn Street, St James's, London, SW1Y 6EE on Thursday 29 June 2023 at 9.00 a.m. The Notice is available on the Company's website at www.eaststarplc.com.

Further to the announcement released by the Company on 1 March 2023, the Company has proposed a resolution at the Annual General Meeting of the Company in relation to the approval of the rules of its long term incentive plan and the grant of options over 4,794,686 new ordinary shares in the Company to employees, non-executives, consultants and contractors. A summary of the long-term incentive plan is included as a schedule to the Notice as it applies to employees of the Company or a member of its Group ("LTIP Rules"). The full LTIP Rules including the rules for awards made to non-executive directors, consultants and contractors, which are based on the LTIP Rules, are available on the Company's website at www.eaststarplc.com.
