BOARD APPOINTMENT: CHIEF Financial officer

Essentra plc, a leading global manufacturer and provider of essential components and solutions, announces the appointment of Rowan Baker to the Board as Chief Financial Officer with effect from 5 November 2024. Rowan will succeed Jack Clarke.

Rowan is currently the Group Chief Financial Officer of Laing O'Rourke and, from 2017 to 2020, was the Chief Financial Officer of McCarthy Stone plc. Prior to joining McCarthy & Stone in 2012, she worked in finance for Barclays Bank plc and professional services for PwC.

Rowan is also a non-executive Director at Vistry Group plc, a FTSE 100 housebuilder, where she is chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committees.

Rowan has a master's degree in law from Cambridge University and is a qualified chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser.

At the date of this announcement, Rowan Baker has no interest in the ordinary shares in Essentra plc.
