Re: Results of Annual General Meeting
The Directors of PowerShares Global Funds Ireland plc (the “Company”) wish to announce that Dr. Sybille Hofmann, a Non-Executive Director of PowerShares Global Funds Ireland plc (the “Company”) has resigned from the Board of the Company as of 24 May 2016. Dr. Hofmann is committed to working with the Board on the selection and appointment of her successor in order to ensure a smooth transition.
Therefore, the resolution 3 to elect Sybille Hofmann as a Director of the Company was withdrawn. The other resolutions as detailed in the notification sent to Shareholders on 29 April 2016 were passed at the AGM of the Company held on 25 May 2016.
